- 2002 and Beyond - You can now find new additions to the site on our main page under "Exciting News Items". We add so very much to the site and online catalog daily that this listing would become too long.
- August 1, 2001 - Got the Online Auction working.
- July 10, 2001 - Finished and launched our new web site! Highlights include an updated chat system, online catalog with complete ordering capability, online auction, new search engine and a better online browsing experience for you, are valued customers.
- January 20, 2001 - Added secure contact forms.
- January 6, 2001 - 2001 Catalog shipped!
- September 25, 2000 - Added 2 new grab bags.
- May - September, 2000 - Constructed new site design and online catalog system.
- May 11, 2000 - Added countdown.cgi for more efficient handling of file downloads.
- January 23, 2000 - Added three new grab bags.
- January 10, 2000 - Changed front page with new news items and online polls.
- January 3, 2000 - In response to feedback from many of our customers, we have added a handy conversion tool for length equivalents.
- January 2, 2000 - Fixed a problem with the left column not displaying properly for our visitors using Netscape. If you are using Netscape, you may need to reload/refresh the page to see the fix.
- January 1, 2000, 5 PM - Added a new search engine and search help page.
- January 1, 2000, 12 AM - Added three new grab bags, four new Hardanger books, and new photos in Meet the Staff and Watch an Order Being Processed.
- December 31, 1999 - New site design implemented.
- December 22, 1999 - A new page detailing the history of this web site was added.

- December 7, 1999 - Altered all top level pages with a new graphical design.
- November 18, 1999 - Added four new free items as well as new cleaning tips to the site.
- November 1, 1999 - Eric took over the site as webmaster. We have added a new order form in Adobe .pdf format, new contact forms, a new search engine, product recommendation scripts (so you can tell your friends about a particular product that you find here), and an email mailing list. Effective November 10th, our web site will switch to a faster web server, hosted by HostPro in Los Angeles, CA. More updates in site layout and design are coming so check back often!
- September 6, 1999 - We added some new Silver Accessories to the Tools and Gadgets Area. They can also be found in our May Catalog
- September 6, 1999 - There are some New M & M Brazilian Embroidery designs by Ruth Maryott located in the Products section.
- September 5, 1999 - We added some NEW DMC Hardanger embroidery kits from our newest mail order catalog.
- May 24, 1999 - Nordic Needle is excited to try out a search engine specifically designed for the Nordic Needle web site. Give it a try and see what results you come up with.
- May 8, 1999 - We just put out our Spring Mail order Catalog with many new patterns and accessories to choose from.
- May 6, 1999 - We added some special Fabric pages. These are our most popular fabrics and we will be adding more in the future. Keep an eye out!
- May 4, 1999 - We added our special page about Blackwork. If you haven't had a chance to do any blackwork here is your chance. Many books to choose from. They range from Beginner to Experienced.
- April 21, 1999 - There are two new groups of Consumer Shows this year, and both are going to be fantastic! We added a page in our "About" Section that invites everyone who is interested to join us at some up and coming 1999 Cross Stitch Festivals!
- April 15, 1999 - Internet Grab Bags added to the Sales Page. These are the best deals you can get on the Internet. Check them out.
- April 6, 1999 - Added a new Brazilian Embroidery page. Brazilian Embroidery is a 3-D embroidery that leaps out at you! Nordic Needle now offers a full line of threads, patterns, fabric and accessories to complete your own Brazilian embroidery
- April 4, 1999 - Added two great sales pages. Nina Annette Organizer Totes and Lady Elizabeth Afghan (now sold out).
- March 30, 1999-The Links that we promised to the Caron Collection web site are now on the front page. Check them out and happy stitching.
- March 27, 1999 -We added a new page on Lorri Birmingham. She has many beautiful designs and kits for your cross-stitching pleasure.
- March 21, 1999 -We are thrilled to announce that we have been assisting the staff of Martha Stewart Living with research and materials for a huck weaving (Swedish weaving) segment on Martha's television show. It will be included in the "Ask Martha" portion of the show and will air on April 14, 1999. In addition, information will appear on her web site on April 13. Nordic Needle will be listed as a source for huck weaving materials.
- March 21, 1999 -We are extremely pleased to have been chosen by Lois Caron of the Caron Collection to appear on her web site in Several Feature articles.
- Feb. 20, 1999 -New navigational bar on top of main pages for easier browsing. Soon to be put on every page!
- Feb. 16, 1999 ---New Front page added as well as new prices in various pages. Be sure to check them out.
